SPV / Steamhammer => PRO-PAIN signs with SPV
- Legendary hardcore metal band signs worldwide deal with SPV -
The Steamhammer label is proud to announce that PRO-PAIN joins the ever growing SPV family for a worldwide deal.
A&R Steamhammer Olly Hahn says: "I already worked with Gary together in the 90s and it was a pleasure to see how dedicated he is for his band and the metal/hardcore family in general. PRO-PAIN stands always for energetic music and live performances and I´m looking forward to a new masterpiece in the fall 2013!"
Band leader and founder Gary Meskil states: "We are very happy and proud to be part of the SPV/ Steamhammer family! They have a long history of bringing quality thrash to the masses, and so we look forward to releasing some devastatingly brutal new music via this partnership".
Aggressive, meticulous, passionate, righteous - all distinguishing traits that have come to symbolize the fundamentals of metal/hardcore pioneers PRO-PAIN. Since their crushing 1992 NAIRD nominated debut album Foul Taste Of Freedom, PRO-PAIN have become a staple in the diets of heavy music listeners around the globe. Their successful and enviable career has perpetually prospered throughout its course, and yet they still manage to find room to improve, and more importantly, impress.

Formed by vocalist/bassist Gary Meskil (ex-Crumbsuckers), New York-based PRO-PAIN have over the years benefited from substantial support from an ever-growing and loyal fan base, the Metal Press, Hard Rock Radio, and MTV's Headbanger's Ball. With band mates Marshall Stephens (Rhythm Guitar), Adam Phillips (Lead Guitar) and Drummer Jonas Sanders, the band are set to tour Europe in February and March extensively with a new studio album expected for fall 2013.
