Capoeira Twins

“this album is hugely enjoyable and sure to sound this good in 10 years time.5/5 ” IDJ mag ‘this is classy shit’ Rennie Pilgrim (TCR)

“we currently have the capoeira twins album on constant repeat” Mixmag office“this is different, there’s plenty of garage-y basslines to pull the smiles down to the dancefloors 4/5” Mixmag

Off the back of their Essential new tune, DJ breaks and beats charts#1 and Record of the week the eagerly anticipated debut album by the Capoeira Twins is not going to disappoint. Taking elements of breakbeat, drum & bass, hip-hop and house and infusing them with their unique song based approach.

“With nearly every track a potential single Capoeira Twins debut album is a show stopping piece of work”. IDJ

Club grooves, twisted bass lines to relaxed smoking beats the Capoeira Twins have created a collection of songs that can work on so many levels creating a fantastic crossover album.

To pick out one tune would be criminal, you have the jazz rolling bassline on cult classic Four, the dirty ass b-line on Flick the Switch the sensuality and summary drum&bass tinge of Manuela and the dark journey on Motherless and the vocalists complete the records imprinting each individually with their own unique style.

The twins have had great radio support from the likes of Tong, MOS radio, Marie-Ann Hobbs, Cutting edge beats, Steve Lamaq, XFM, Judge Jules, Fractured beats, Annie Nightingale and have picked up DJ support from the likes of Mr Scruff, The Plump DJs, Superstyle Deluxe, The Nextmen, Rennie Pilgrem, Meat Katie,Wiseguys,FelixOram,HybridandRobertLuis.
