Radney Foster


 
Radney Foster is an American singer-songwriter and music producer. Initially a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, Foster made his recording debut as part of the Foster & Lloyd duo, recording three studio albums and with nine singles on the country charts.
He has long been revered in the Nashville music community as a lyricist and a dry West Texas poet. His songs have been covered by such diverse acts as Hootie and the Blowfish, Sweethearts of the Rodeo, Gary Allan, Dixie Chicks, Sara Evans, Keith Urban and Guy Clark.
Foster began his solo career in 1992 with Del Rio, TX 1959 which produced four consecutive Top 40 hits.
Labor of Love the follow up was released in 1995 and peaked at #61 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts and producing three chart singles
Foster has had thirteen songs on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including the Top Ten hits "Just Call Me Lonesome" (#10, 1992) and "Nobody Wins" (#2, 1993).
